Brentwood Mall redevelopment has been given stamp of approval
First phase of development will include a public plaza and two 60storey towers
It is now official. Shape Properties‘ proposal to develop a multi-phased, mixed-use, highrise apartment and office development has been given the stamp of approval. This will be a 4 phased project stretching over 20 years. The entire project will include 10 residential buildings, 2 office towers (30~40 Storeys), commercial centre, and a 50,000 SQFT food store. The overall anticipated number of residential units is between 2,000 and 4,200 units.
The first phase of the transformation will include a public plaza and two 60 storey towers, which will be the tallest building in Burnaby. The buildings will be located at Lougheed Highway and Alpha Avenue, and on the corner of Willingdon Avenue and Halifax Street.
